Ryan Perkins received his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of Mississippi in 2008 and graduated from Medical School at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2012. He completed residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics in 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and served as an Internal Medicine Chief Resident in 2017. He recently completed combined Adult-Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital in 2021. Ryan currently sees pediatric and adult CF patients and has an interest in transition of care. Ryan is involved with the BWH/BCH Adult QI group as well as the CF Learning Network. Ryan’s research interest focuses on evaluating value-based health care, innovative care delivery models, and the implications of insurance policy on clinical and financial outcomes for patients with CF. He was also selected to participate in the AHRQ T-32 funded Harvard Wide Pediatric Health Services Research fellowship to begin in July 2022 to further explore these interests. Ryan is the prior recipient of CFF Clinical Fellowship training awards during his fellowship and currently is being sponsored by the CFF PACE award.
