Dr. Lisa Saiman is a Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an Attending Physician and Hospital Epidemiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Saiman's primary research and clinical interests are cystic fibrosis (CF), healthcare-associated infections, multidrug-resistant pathogens, and antimicrobial stewardship. She is the principal investigator of her division's T-32 fellowship training grant in pediatric infectious diseases. She serves as an advisor to the CF Foundation (CFF) and is a member of the CFF Data Safety and Monitoring Board and annual meeting planning committee. She serves on the Editorial Board of the journals Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and Clinical Infectious Diseases.
