Natalia Argel, BSN, RN, CPN is a clinical research nurse at Phoenix Children’s. She graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in 1989. She has worked at Phoenix Children’s in various nursing roles (bedside nurse, clinical care coordinator, nursing supervisor, case manager prior to working in ambulatory) since her career began. Her passion is working in the outpatient setting caring for children with chronic illness such as asthma or cystic fibrosis. She was the pediatric clinical CF care coordinator prior to becoming the research nurse. As a research nurse, she has worked on numerous pharmaceutical trials, retrospective studies and investigator studies in CF and other pulmonary diseases.
Her research interests are pain, palliative care and quality improvement in CF. Natalia has been involved with cystic fibrosis since 1996. She participates in various committees including nursing research and has assisted leading the CF team with their quality improvement projects. Natalia has been selected as a presenter to previous NACFC conferences.
Her other interests include attending sporting events, playing with her beagles, Snoopy collectibles, and travelling.
