Dr. Megan Fleischman is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist who recently practiced in the pulmonary clinic at Froedtert and the Medial College of Wisconsin. She now is faculty at Concordia University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and practices in Froedtert's Specialty Pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Monroe Clinic in Monroe, Wisconsin and PGY-2 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Ambulatory Care at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to her pulmonary position, she practiced at a University of Illinois-Chicago family medicine clinic in Rockford, IL. She joined the adult pulmonary clinic at Froedtert to continue smoking cessation services and expand pharmacist services to other lung conditions including cystic fibrosis. She was the pharmacist on of the adult cystic fibrosis adult team for the past 5 years. Dr Fleischman has had the opportunity to present at NACFC on adverse effects of elexacaftor-tezacaftor-ivacaftor as well as on her initial findings of a quality improvement project to evaluate patient characteristics as they relate to calculated medication possession ratio. When not caring for patients and teaching pharmacy students, Dr Fleischman enjoys time with her family whether it be coaching a 6 year old girl soccer team or relaxing with the family to complete the Avenger Movies timeline.
