Dr Susannah King is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian with 30 years' experience in clinical nutrition. Until August 2022, she held the position of Senior Lead Dietitian for Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis Services at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, which provides care to over 350 adults with CF. Her major clinical and research interests include CF nutrition, the impact of CFTR modulators on nutritional status, body composition, malnutrition and critical care nutrition. Susannah played a key role in the 2017 "Nutrition Guidelines for Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and New Zealand", and is a member of the leadership group of the Dietitians Australia Cystic Fibrosis Interest Group leading the revision of these Guidelines. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis, and recently completed a 5-year term as the Allied Health representative on the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry Steering Committee. Susannah complements her clinical and research activities with strong interest in health informatics, the use of data to drive quality improvement and the development of models of nutrition care delivery and has recently taken up a role as Digital Health Partner at The Alfred, supporting clinical programs with digital health projects and optimisaiton of electronic medical records.
