Mari Pitcher, LMSW 2000, MBA 1986 specializes in grief work, trauma work and patient and family centered care for individuals, and their families, impacted by life changing illnesses. Currently a member of the Michigan Medicine Pulmonary Care Team and SW/MHC for the UofM CF clinic, she has over 18 years of hospice, palliative care and grief work experience. Additionally, she has worked as a therapist supporting individuals with PTSD, histories of abuse and/or traumatic loss. She is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Social Work teaching courses in interpersonal practice with individuals and small groups.
