I earned my medical degree from Urmia University of Medical Sciences. I then completed Internal Medicine residency in Texas Tech University and Gastroenterology fellowship in University of Lille II, France, and Mayo clinic. I'm board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in Kansas University Medical Center. I have been an active leading member of various GI associations that I currently serve as Co-Chair of research committee of American Foregut Society (AFS). I have more than 50 peer reviewed publication and multiple national and international lecture and presentations. My research and clinical interests include gastrointestinal Motility, pancreatic disease and GI disease in cystic fibrosis and pancreas insufficiency.
