Dr. Erin Lowery completed her training at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and continued on at Loyola for residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, and fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care with a focus on CF and lung transplant. She recently relocated to Madison Wisconsin where she is a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Medicine. She serves as the Medical Director of the Lung Transplant program and Associate Medical Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Program at UW Health. Dr. Lowery's clinical interests include advanced cystic fibrosis lung disease and post-transplant care in patients with CF. Her research interests include outcomes in CF and lung transplant, and substance use in organ donors and patients with advanced lung disease and transplant. She has been involved in the development of care guidelines, policies, outcomes research and advocacy for patients with lung transplant and cystic fibrosis,
