The presentations in this session will include studies that detail aspects of CF airway epithelial cell biology. The efficacy of highly effective modulator therapy on CF epithelial transcriptome regulation will be discussed. We will also learn about the role of hypoxia on mucociliary clearance in CF sinusitis, the pathways influencing CFTR-mediate mucin and fluid secretion, and the regulation of the TGFβ pathway in CF airway epithelial cells. A more detailed understanding of pathways that regulate key aspects of CF airway epithelial biology will be gained.
