Sonia Graziano is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She is a member of the ECFS Mental Health Research Working Group and member of the American Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Mental Health Committee. She is a researcher at the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome, Unit of Cystic Fibrosis. Her research is focused on depression, anxiety and HRQOL in patients with CF and their parent caregivers. She is involved in various clinical activities (i.e. supportive intervention for patients and parents, psycho-education intervention to improve adherence, psychotherapy). She is a co-founder and a research coordinator of the Italian National Trauma Center (INTC). She completed her education at Sapienza University of Rome. She has worked in community healthcare, child and adolescent services, as well as in private practice. In 2019, she attended the CF-CBT training in Boston (Massachusetts General Hospital). In 2009, she completed the "Mastery in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery Certificate Program" - Harvard Medical School. From 2011 to 2013, she attended the HPRT organization at Harvard University in Boston as a research fellow (summer session). In 2007, she attended the Department of Psychiatry in Traumatic Stress Service University of Western Ontario. In 2010 and 2016, she coordinated the training of Primary Care General Practitioner after the Earthquake in Italy.
