Christina Thornton is an MD/PhD from the University of Calgary who recently completed an adult respirology fellowship with a background in cystic fibrosis microbiology. Her interests in particular relate to the microbiome and the role of anaerobic organisms during periods of clinical stability and pulmonary exacerbations. She is currently pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan under the supervision of Drs. John LiPuma and Lindsay Caverly to further discern these interactions.
