Clinical Social Worker

Tiffany Raffino, MSW is a licensed clinical social worker currently working at the University of California, San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital. She is passionate about working with the CF Community. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 2006, and has over 14 years of experience caring for children, teens and adults with acute and chronic illnesses. Her goal is to support people with CF and their families in living their best lives. She helps families to cope with the challenges of CF, and connects them with resources such as health insurance, medication assistance, peer support, and college scholarships. As a vital member of the UCSF team, she has deepened the support offered to families through helping to develop their Mental Health Program, Parent Advisory Board, and Family Day Events. Tiffany has been an active member of the CFRI Community, and has presented at CFRI’s Community Voices podcast series on navigating healthcare costs and food insecurity. She also collaborated with CFRI to develop a series of programs for families who speak Spanish, including a nationally broadcast Spanish-language Family Education Day and an educational video for new families. She was recognized as CFRI's "CF Champion" in 2019.
