Thomas Lahiri, M.D. is the Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis Center Director at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. He received his undergraduate education at McGill University and his medical education at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. His pediatric training was completed at the University of Vermont followed by a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has served as the Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital since 2001. His clinical interest and expertise includes cystic fibrosis, asthma, airway disorders and bronchoscopy. He has co-authored the CFF Preschool-Aged Clinical Care Guidelines and has served as a member of the CFF Pulmonary Guidelines Committee. He currently serves as a member of the CFF Guidelines Steering Committee and is a workgroup leader for the CFTR-Related Metabolic Syndrome Guidelines Committee.
