Charissa Kam PharmD, BCPPS, CPP is a pediatric pulmonary clinical pharmacist practitioner at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC, primarily caring for pediatric CF and lung transplant patients. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2014, and completed her PGY1 and PGY2 residency training at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. She is a board certified pediatric pharmacy specialist. Her areas of interest include management of difficult to treat infections, applications of therapeutic drug monitoring, lung transplanation, pharmacogenomics, and utilization of technology to optimize patient care.
