Cystic Fibrosis Program Director , Chief, Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine
Nationwide Children’s Hospital
I am a pediatric pulmonologist in an academic setting. This allows me to educate medical students, pediatric and internal medicine/pediatric residents, pediatric pulmonary fellows, internal medicine/pediatric fellows in pulmonary medicine, and a wider field of non-physician healthcare trainees and practitioners. I am Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) and Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University (OSU). I am Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center, Principal Investigator of the Therapeutics Development Network site, and Principal Investigator of the Research and Development Program (Cure Cystic Fibrosis Columbus, C3 RDP) at NCH and OSU. I care for patients with asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic ventilation dependence, and many other respiratory illnesses. I have participated as PI for well over 100 clinical trials. I am extremely attentive to issues pertaining to diversity, inclusion, equity in medicine, medical administration, and clinical trials.
