Outpatient Respiratory Therapist
Advocate Children's Hospital-OakLawn
Pamela Peterson, RRT-NPS, AE-C, CPFT, has worked at Advocate Children's Hospital for 26 years, the last eight in the outpatient clinic. In 2010 she was privileged to be enrolled in the Apprentice Program and mentored by the late Paulette Ratkiewicz at the University of Michigan, Mott Children's Hospital which has enabled her to broaden her role as a RCP in the CF population. She has been part of the CF care team for the last twelve years, working in both an outpatient capacity as well as following patients admitted to the hospital. She values continuity of care and desires to see each patient reach their full potential by providing them with the necessary tools they need to manage their disease and master self-care. By far, her favorite role is that of a cheerleader.
