Christina Duncan, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at West Virginia University. She graduated with her doctorate degree from Louisiana State University in 1995, completing her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (Jackson, MS) and her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Florida. She is a pediatric psychologist with expertise in the areas of adherence, transition of care, pulmonary disorders, and burn injuries. Dr. Duncan is active in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, having been appointed to the Clinical Research Committee, Data Safety and Monitoring Board, and NACFC Program Planning Committee. She served two consecutive terms as secretary for the Society of Pediatric Psychology, has served on editorial boards for multiple journals and currently is the Editor for Clinical Practice in Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Duncan has received awards for her scholarly productivity as well as her clinical and professional service.
