Tracey graduated from the University of Manchester in 1999, completed an MSc in the management of long-term health conditions in 2009 and qualified as an independent prescriber in 2013. She has worked in various CF centres across the UK and is the non-medical clinical lead for cystic fibrosis at the York Hull adult CF centre and York paediatric network clinic in the UK. She is a York hospitals and York St John University research fellow completing a PhD focusing on understanding the place of inhaled therapy in optimising outcomes for people with cystic fibrosis in the modulator era.
Tracey was editor for the CF trust/ACPCF physiotherapy guidelines, a member of the steering committee for the James Lind CF research priority setting partnership and lead author on the Cochrane review of nebuliser systems for drug deliver in cystic fibrosis. She has published within the areas of physiotherapy management of Cystic Fibrosis, adherence, treatment burden and nebulised medication.
