Andrea Molzhon, Ph.D., joined the Pediatric Research Department of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) after completing her doctorate in applied developmental psychology from VCU in 2016. Her professional responsibilities have included managing and assisting with programs that focus on improving mental health and daily life for those living with cystic fibrosis (CF). Her primary role has been to manage a multi-site group mental health research intervention, Project UPLIFT, based out of VCU (PI: Dr. Michael Schechter). Additionally, she has been serving as the quality improvement leader of the VCU pediatric CF team for the CF Learning Network since 2019. Andrea was a 2021 Virginia's Finest Honoree by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Virginia Chapter, has presented work at previous national CF and child development conferences and at CF network events, and has been included in publications related to CF care.
