Social Worker

Kimberly Matias, LCSW, earned her Bachelor of Arts in social work from San Francisco State University. She then served as a Health Education volunteer with the Peace Corps in Honduras, and returned to earn a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her work experience includes 17 years of medical social work. She has worked in hospital based social work, rehabilitation clinics, and children’s specialty centers.
Kim joined St Luke’s Cystic Fibrosis Center of Idaho in 2017 as the center’s social worker. In 2020 her role expanded to provide behavioral health services to their adult and pediatric patient community. Currently she is a member of the CFF Food Insecurity Committee and served on the CFF Daily Care Checklist advisory group.
