Zain Mohammad Cheema (BHSc, MBDC, MD candidate) - Student Researcher at Cystic Fibrosis Canada and Medical Student at McMaster University. Zain completed his undergraduate and graduate degree in the Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization Program at McMaster University, with a focus of his Masters on Health Economics. He completed his internship at Cystic Fibrosis Canada as a health economics intern in 2019 and later went on to join the team as a student researcher. His research primarily focuses on evaluating the time and cost burden of cystic fibrosis. He is currently attending his final year of medical school at McMaster University and plans to pursue residency in internal medicine.
