Luke Hoffman is a physician-scientist at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital. Clinically, he cares for children with cystic fibrosis and other lung diseases as a pediatric pulmonologist. He is also a microbiologist, with a basic science laboratory that investigates the microbial determinants of chronic, pediatric diseases such as CF; he also directs a CF clinical microbiology laboratory at Seattle Children's Hospital that also serves as a National Resource Center for researchers developing new treatments for CF infections, the Center for CF Microbiology.
