Anna Zemke, MD. PhD is an Assistant Professor at University of Pittsburgh with scientific interests in chronic Gram-negative respiratory infections in cystic fibrosis and chronic critical illness survivors. I have been at Pitt since 2002 when I enrolled in the Medical Science Training Program (MD/PhD program). My PhD is in cell biology with a focus on signaling during lung development. Following clinical training in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine I focused on the pathogen-host biology of chronic airway infections. My current research interests are in CF sinus disease and tracheobronchitis in individuals with chronic critical illness.
