Kathy Villagomez, RRT, RCP is the Program Cooridinator and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for the Adult CF Center of Central Texas. She has been practing respiratory care since 2007. Kathy started with Ascension Seton/Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center from 2016 to 2018 as a pulmonary function test therapist. She joined the Adult CF team of Central Texas in 2018 not only to perform pulmonary function tests, and also to help educate and support patients with their respiratory care needs. She participated in the CF Foundation Respiratory Therapy Apprentice Program in 2019. In 2020, Kathy became the Adult Center’s Program Coordinator. Since joining the CF team, she has actively participated in Quality Improvement Initiatives over the years. She continues to find ways to improve and grow with her center and team.
