Dr Karuna Sapru (MBChB, MRCP), graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2011. I have undertaken postgraduate training in Edinburgh and Manchester. I am working towards completing dual accreditation in respiratory medicine and general internal medicine. I am currently also working as a clinical research fellow and pursuing a PhD at the Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre. The focus of my research is understanding the complexities of ageing in cystic fibrosis, with a particular interest in cardiovascular disease and the impact of novel modulator therapy on older CF adults.
