Cathy Burroughs, MLS, is Associate Director of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region (NNLM PNR), under a cooperative agreement grant with the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Cathy serves as a member of the broader NNLM leadership team and provides program, communication, grant management, supervisory, and evaluation support under the Associate Dean of University Libraries/Director of the NNLM PNR and UW Health Sciences Library. In 2001, the NNLM PNR was awarded a five-year contract for the Outreach Evaluation Resource Center to which Cathy was appointed Assistant Director. Previously, from 1997-2001, she served as a project manager for an outreach evaluation study, funded by the Office of Health Information Programs Development at NLM. Cathy has also managed a division and several large-scale health communications contracts for agencies of the NIH. She received an MLS, with a health sciences specialization, from UCLA.
