Donna Berryman, MLIS, EdD, is the Senior Associate Director for Miner Library at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She is responsible for managing three major areas of the library: Research & Education, Information & Resource Management, and the Bioinformatics Consulting and Education Service. In 2012, Donna completed a Doctorate of Education at the Warner School at the University of Rochester. She was an AAHSL Leadership Fellow in 2013-2014. Donna is one of the many librarians who can proudly proclaim, "I worked at UIC" in the Academic Resident Librarian program. From there, she moved to Massachusetts where she worked as the Outreach Coordinator for the New England Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine. And then medical librarianship brought her to Rochester, NY. Rochester, she’s learned, is a land of summer art fairs, festivals, the Rochester Public Market (a favorite Saturday morning haunt for local produce and excellent people watching), and the Rochester Garbage Plate, a local culinary creation.
