I am currently a Professor & Education Librarian at the Stewart Library at Weber State University (WSU). I have been teaching in the university setting for over 20 years, and began my career in the field of librarianship as a student worker in the University of South Florida Health Sciences Library in the 1990s. While I now work in a general academic library, I continue doing subject specific instruction and collection development in related disciplines, such as athletic training, nutrition, and exercise and sports science, all of which are housed in my liaison area in the College of Education. My research interests focus on information literacy instruction, and more recently, improving accessibility in online course environments.
