Deborah Farber, MLIS, AHIP, is the Health Sciences Librarian at California University of Science and Medicine in Colton, California. She has been with the University since June 2021. Before her current position, Deborah was a community college librarian in Los Angeles, California, where she served as liaison to the Nursing and Natural Science Departments. Deborah has more than 15 years of professional experience as a Librarian, with ten years in academic libraries. She has taught information literacy concepts in credit-bearing courses and non-credit-bearing research sessions and workshops. Personal interest in health and wellness led her to promote health information literacy to the community she serves.
