David Duggar, MLIS, AHIP, is the Head of the Liaison Section Program at LSU Health Shreveport Health Sciences Library. A reference librarian for twenty years attaining the rank of Librarian/Professor, he took on his current position in 2015. He is the library’s liaison to the School of Allied Health Professions and several departments in the School of Medicine. He has been a member of many library organizations at the state, regional, and national level, and has served on several committees as a member and chair, and as an association officer. Currently he is President of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association and Co-Chair of the MLA Bylaws Committee.
