Education and Clinical Services Librarian
Lamar Soutter Library
Worcester, Massachusetts
Victoria Rossetti, MSLIS, is a graduate of Simmons College and is currently an Education and Clinical Services Librarian at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. Tori is an embedded librarian, acting as a liaison to multiple clinical departments, as well as the Graduate School of Nursing and the School of Medicine. As the house librarian for Tatnuck, one of the School of Medicine’s learning communities, Tori assists with and evaluates student FCEs and supports capstone projects.
Tori is a non-scientific reviewer for the UMass Medical IRB, which evaluates research involving human subjects. She also conducts library instruction sessions and training for different resources the library offers, including EndNote. She is currently working to incorporate personal narratives using graphics into the medical curriculum, and is also interested in the potential low-text comics have for health communication. Tori participates in the LGBTQ employee resource group at UMass, and is always looking for ways to make the library a more inclusive, welcoming space.
