Elizabeth Frakes, MSIS, AHIP, Assistant Librarian for Clinical Services, completed her undergraduate work in biology prior to obtaining her Masters in Information Science. Since joining the University of Utah, Ms. Frakes has specialized in clinical decision support, evidence provision, complex clinical question filtering, and teaching. Previously, she held the position of Information Scientist at the Center for Knowledge Management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Ms. Frakes has been heavily involved in the initiative to integrate librarian services into the electronic health record. Ms. Frakes also supports patient education at the Hope Fox Eccles Health Library with the University of Utah.
