Nancy Shin, B.Sc., MLIS, AHIP is the NNLM Region 5 Outreach and Data Coordinator at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She received her Bachelor of Science in the Integrated Sciences majoring in medical genetics and animal biology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Nancy also graduated from UBC's esteemed MLIS program with a focus on health librarianship. In 2018, she was the Sewell Fund Research Data Management Fellow for the Technology Incubator at Washington State University.
She is very passionate about all things data and community science, especially RDM, data visualization, data ethics, and data storytelling. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, drawing, cooking and baking, and travelling the world!!!
