Kat Phillips is the Nursing & Allied Health Librarian at Penn State University. In this role she works with the Nese College of Nursing, Health Policy and Administration department and Consortium on Substance Use and Addiction. She is the co-creator of the IF I APPLY method addressing confirmation bias and source evaluation, and researches the use and instruction of Grey Literature in nursing and working with distance graduate students. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and starting (but rarely finishing) various crafting projects.
