Michael A. Wood, MLS currently serves as the Head of Resource Management & Qatar Liaison Librarian at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University since 2017. He received his MLS in 2000 from the Queens College of the City University of New York. Michael was appointed to the faculty rank of Assistant Librarian in 2004 and previously as Assitant Head of Resouce Management. He directs the acquisition, processing, and coordination of electronic information resources for the Weill Cornell Medical Libraries in New York City and Doha, Qatar. In addition, he coordinates with the main Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY for shared purchasing and licensing of electronic information. Michael is active in MLA and currently serves as the Chair of the Collection Development Caucus.
