Laura Wright, MLIS, MPH, is a Research Support Librarian- Systematic Reviews at the Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She has worked at the Matas Library since 2013, and became a librarian after completing her MLIS at San Jose State University. She received her MPH and undergraduates degrees from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Prior to working at the Matas Library, Laura worked as a Victim Advocate at Hope, Inc., a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center in Fairmont, WV; as a research associate at The Protection Project at The Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C.; as a graduate research assistant at the West Virginia Rural Health Research Center at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV; and as a page at the Martinsburg-Berkeley Co. Public Library in Martinsburg, WV.
