Michelle L. Zafron is an Associate Librarian and the Coordinator of Reference Services for Health Sciences at Abbott Library at the University at Buffalo. She is the library liaison to the School of Public Health and Health Professions and has co-authored multiple systematic reviews. Her research interests include the connection between information literacy and evidence-based practice and the use of social media in academic libraries. She possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Political Science and Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University at Buffalo, and is a recipient of the 2015 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Librarianship.
