Debra Rand, AHIP-D, is the associate dean for library services and assistant professor of science education at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She also serves as Corporate Director of Libraries for Northwell Health, the school's health system. She earned a BA at the University of Michigan and an M.S. in library services at Columbia University. Prior to her position at the School of Medicine, Ms. Rand was the library director at Long Island Jewish Medical Center for more than twenty years.
