Senior Staff Psychologist
Division of Developmental Medicine, Boston Children's Hospital
Brookline, Massachusetts
Jason Fogler, Ph.D. is the Training Director of LEND at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH); Co-Director of the ADHD Program in the Division of Developmental Medicine at BCH; a three-time committee co-chair (in Psychology, ADHD, and Practice Issues) in the Society for Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics; and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Psychology at Harvard Medical School. He is also the attending psychologist on a team devoted to children who have been adopted (domestically and internationally) or in the foster care system; and he routinely provides guardianship evaluations for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. (All of these experiences inform his deep interest in emotional regulation and dysregulation, the project he is speaking about with Anna Dorste at this conference). Dr. Fogler has lectured regionally, nationally, and internationally -- most recently about how to support children with disabilities during the conflict in Palestine -- and taught two international cohorts of clinicians (in Linz, Austria and Baku, Azerbaijan), about the principles of trauma-sensitive assessment and treatment. He has authored over 50 publications, including educational guides for parents of children with ADHD, peer-reviewed clinical research and systematic reviews, an open letter of recommendations for the Biden-Harris administration, and two edited books: Trauma Therapy in Context: The Science & Craft of Evidence-Based Practice and Trauma, Autism, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Integrating Research, Practice, and Policy. He is delighted to be presenting on his collaborative project with one of BCH's finest hopsital librarians.
