Stephen Gabrielson, MSLIS, is the Scholarly Communication Librarian at the University of Pittsburgh's Health Sciences Library System, and has been working in academic medical libraries for the past eight years. As a member of the library's Data and Publishing Services department, he provides publishing support and training for researchers on a wide variety of topics, such as open access, author rights, journal evaluation, and research impact. Stephen has a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Humboldt State University and an MSLIS from Simmons University.
