Danielle Linden, AHIP, is the Medical Library Manager at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA and works with a team of library professionals in Providence's System Library Services. She has also held librarian positions at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and West Coast University. She received her BA in anthropology from UCLA, MLIS from San Jose State University, and is a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals. Since 2005, Linden has been involved in her local MLA chapter, the Medical Library Group of Southern California and Arizona (MLGSCA), in a variety of roles and was awarded MLGSCA's Louise Darling Achievement Award for significant contributions to health sciences librarianship. She belongs to the Hospital Libraries and Nursing and Allied Health Resources Caucuses of MLA. In her free time, Linden is interested in running, baking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband Chris.
