After previous positions at college and university libraries in southern California including Cal State Fullerton, Santa Ana College and West Coast University, Cindy Runnels MLIS AHIP joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011 as the Manager of Library Services for the Downey Service Area. With professional interests in intellectual freedom, emerging technologies, and instructional design, Cindy has also been a faculty member at San Jose State University’s iSchool since 2008. She became a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals in 2019.
