Sian Aynsley, MSc/MCLIP is currently a Lead Librarian for Kaiser Permanente, having joined the organization in 2018. She has a background in Medieval History and Fine Art and earned her Masters in Library & Information Science from City University London in 2009. Sian has over 20 years library experience, mainly in hospital libraries, working for the National Health Service (NHS) in the northeast of England and south London. At Kaiser she has been the chair of the Professional Development Committee since 2019 and provides research and information support to library patrons across Northern California. In her spare time Sian enjoys reading, crafting, baking, hiking in the redwoods and spending time with her family and cats.
