Lynda Ayiku is an information specialist at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). NICE develops evidence-based guidance and advice products with the aim of improving clniical care, public health, and social care in the United Kingdom (UK). Lynda's role primarily involves conducting systematic literature searches to identify the evidence that underpins NICE guidance recommendations and advice. She has a research interest in developing validated search filters. In addition to the filters for low-and middle-income countries (LMIC), Lynda led the development of two other geographic filters to find evidence about the UK and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries from Ovid MEDLINE and Embase. She also led the development of filters to find evidence on digital health app interventions from Ovid MEDLINE and Embase.
