Eleni Philippopoulos graduated with a Master's of Information Studies from McGill University in 2018. She is currently an Information Specialist and Patient Education Librarian at Sinai Health in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has previously worked as a Patient Librarian at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and completed her practicum at the Montreal Neurological Institute, where she worked closely with patients. She believes that health librarians have an essential role in improving health literacy and making sure patients from all walks of life feel seen and heard in a healthcare setting.
