I live on the Arkansas side of Memphis with my furbaby Charlie, a Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog. A few years ago, a family cat was also transferred to my house since she needs to be a solo cat. She was recently renamed Diva after we discovered her love of the Zoom camera.

In 2019, I started teaching Freshman Composition at a local community college to help pay for some of Charlie's vet bills and medications (senior, special needs dogs are not cheap). And I have really enjoyed helping people achieve their education goals.

Besides reading, I love to knit and try to garden when the weather and time permit.
