Dede Rios, PhD, MS, AHIP serves as the Director of Optometric & Clinical Library Services at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, University of the Incarnate Word, in San Antonio, Texas. Her research interests are in scholarly communication, collaboration, health humanities and staff development. Dede is an active member of city, regional, state and national library professional associations and volunteers for them all. She is currently a co-facilitator for the MLA Reads Online Book Discussions and chair of the Vision Science Caucus.
