John Bramble, MLIS, MBMI, is the Executive Director for the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 4 and National Training Office and has been a member of the Eccles Health Sciences Library faculty at the University of Utah since 2002. John is interested in developing relationships and engagement opportunities with the many communities throughout region and nationwide. John is an active member of the Midcontinental Chapter where he currently serves as the Annual Meeting Advisor and served as Chapter Chair in 2017-2018. John leads regional efforts to attract LIS students interested in using their practicum time on meaningful projects leading to real-life work experiences. John also leads efforts to coordinate with the Medical Library Association and LIS professors to get their health information related courses to qualify for the Consumer Health Information Specializations (CHIS) they can award their student upon course completion.
