Erica Lake, MLS, AHIP, is the Medical & Academic Library Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLLM) Region 6. In this dream job, Erica engages with hospital and academic health sciences librarians, as well as librarians at tribal colleges and universities and SLIS programs and students, on behalf of the NNLM. Erica has more than 20 years of experience in the field, including 11 years as a hospital librarian with Intermountain Healthcare and eight years as an Associate Librarian with the Eccles Health Sciences Library at the University of Utah, where her diverse research, publishing, and service activities earned her tenure. When she’s not in the office, Erica is usually outdoors running, mountain biking, and exploring with family and friends in her new hometown of Duluth, MN.
