Brandon Jason is an LIS graduate student in the iSchool at University of Missouri, a fellow of the Librarians as Catalysts for Community Health (C4CH) cohort grant-funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Branch Manager of the Nixa Community Branch of the Christian County Library in southwest Missouri. Brandon started his path to librarianship during his undergraduate studies by working for the academic Lyons Memorial Library at College of the Ozarks, a private liberal arts college in Point Lookout, Missouri. Since 2016, Brandon has worked for the public Christian County Library district. He is interested in public librarianship and public health through equal access to information resources and also currently works or has future interest in adult programming, library social media, marketing and design, and collection development.
